After getting roasted by reviewers, the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 GPUs are also getting abandoned by gamers if the newest report from 3DCenter is any indication. Per 3DCenter, the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 has had an extremely slow launch day on MindFactory compared to the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4070 that also went on sale this year.

After quite unfavorable reviews from many media outlets, it was expected that the RTX 4060 Ti could have slow sales. Rumors alleged that retailers were bracing for the card to tank on release which proved to be right, in part, as reports from Japan suggested that the RTX 4060 Ti got quite a cold reception in Tokyo. It now appears that the RTX 4060 Ti is also selling rather poorly in the German market and it is not alone. 3DCenter alleges that, alongside the RTX 4060 Ti, the RX 7600 is also struggling to move off the shelves at least on MindFactory.

Per 3DCenter’s data regarding the launch day GPU sales on MindFactory, roughly 30 RTX 4060 Ti units were sold 12-14 hours after the market launch. The state of the RX 7600 wasn’t much better either, as the publication puts the number of boards sold on launch day between 30 and 40 units. These numbers for the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 are understandable, since neither GPU offers a particularly exciting generational improvement.

To give us an idea of how bad the reception of the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 is, 3DCenter also provides the launch day sales estimates of the RTX 4070 Ti and the RTX 4070 which come in at 400-450 and 315 units respectively.

In other words, if 3DCenter’s numbers are accurate, the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 launch day sales were less than 10% of the RTX 4070 Ti, a GPU which has an MSRP of US$799. Similarly, both the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 were also miles behind the RTX 4070.

All in all, it looks like the RTX 4060 Ti and the RX 7600 have failed to excite gamers. Now, it remains to be seen whether this trend continues with the boards sitting on store shelves. Assuming it does, we hope NVIDIA and AMD respond by adjusting the pricing to make the GPUs considerably better deals than they currently are.
