Insta360 has finally confirmed the existence of its inaugural drone after a series of leaks described the device before its official debut. As we have covered separately, Insta360 has decided to offer the drone under the new brand Antigravity rather than an extension of itself.
Moreover, the Antigravity drone will feature an 8K and 360-degree camera, much like the existing Insta360 X5 action camera (curr. $549.99 on Amazon). For the time being, neither Insta360 nor Antigravity will be revealing anything more about the drone pictured above. In the meantime, leaker Igor Bogdanov has got his hands on a leaked video showing a prototype unit.
Embedded below, the video suggests that the drone lacks a gimbal like the DJI Mini 4 Pro or the upcoming Mini 5 Pro. With that being said, the Antigravity drone has a familiar-looking set of front-facing sensors, albeit rotated by 90 degrees compared to those on DJI's sub-249 g drones. The overall design is reminiscent of rivals too, with a battery accessible at the rear and exposed propeller blades. Unfortunately, full specifications and pricing remain unknown for now.
