Hubsan has been the subject of several reports at Notebookcheck, and now the company has just unveiled new drone, namely a quadcopter, the Black Hawk 3. Similarly to models from DJI, the drone is primarily designed for recording videos and photos, and is said to impress with its extensive range of features. According to Hubsan, it features a 4G cellular modem, making it ideal for use in hilly or challenging environments. The installed SyncLeas 4+ technology is purportedly capable of transmitting image signals over distances of up to 16 kilometers. A GNSS module that supports GPS, Glonass and Beidou is also on board.
The weight may be a limitation: At 712.7 grams, the Black Hawk 3 easily exceeds the 249-gram legal limit for recreational drone use in many countries. Otherwise, the drone is said to be usable in a wind speed of 10 m/s, and in calm conditions the maximum horizontal flight speed is given as 16 m/s. The Hubsan Black Hawk 3 can reportedly ascend at up to four meters per second. A 1/1.3 CMOS sensor is on board, which can also record 4K videos at 30 frames per second, and the resolution is specified as 48 MP.
Information on global availability is still pending. It is likely to be available as a direct import first before finding its way to official retailers around the globe.
