Adlink is offering new single-board computer that could certainly be an alternative to a Raspberry Pi, albeit with a slightly different focus. It comes with a comprehensive design guide that enables users to create their own function modules tailored to specific application needs.

The Adlink SBC35-MTL is a new single-board computer, which, according to the data sheet, comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H and should thus outperform the Raspberry Pi 5 in terms of computing power. The installation of up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM with a maximum clock frequency of 5,600 MHz is possible, but ECC storage is not supported. An M.2 2280 slot with PCIe 4 connection is primarily available for the installation of internal storage, as well as one M.2 2230 and one M.2 3042, and the installation of a cellular modem should also be possible.

Image output is supported via HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, eDisplayPort and USB-C, allowing up to four monitors to be connected. Network connectivity is available via two Ethernet ports, both supporting a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 Gbps. External mass storage devices or accessories can also be connected via USB 3.2 Gen 2, and USB 2.0 can be accessed via headers.

The same applies to connecting other devices via RS232/422/485, and a GPIO connection is also possible. The 146 x 102 millimeter board is powered via a circular connector. Users are hardly limited in their choice of operating system, so Windows can be easily installed. Adlink also provides a comprehensive design guide that allows users to adjust the SBC35 to their own needs, making it ideal for a wide range of industries. Information on price or availability is not yet available.
