Himiway fat tire e-bikes will soon launch on Amazon with up to 80-mile range
Himiway has announced that its four long-range e-bike models will launch on Amazon on August 27. The 26-in fat tire electric bicycles to be offered on the platform are the Cruiser, Step-thru, Zebra and Zebra Step-Thru.
Each bike is powered by a 750 W geared motor, providing a top speed of 20 mph (~32 kph) and up to 80 Nm of torque. You can either use the engine for pure power or pedal assistance. The two top-end Zebra models are fitted with a 960 Wh Samsung or LG battery, providing up to 80 miles (~129 km) of pedal-assisted range or 60 miles (~97 km) using electric power. The other models have an 840 Wh Samsung battery, providing a range of 60 miles (~97 km).
Each Himiway bike has an LCD showing battery capacity and pedal assistance level. Plus, the display has a USB port, which you can use to charge your smartphone. The electric bicycles have a 6061 aluminum frame, weighing 72 to 79 lbs (~33 to 36 kg) and supporting payloads from 350 to 400 lbs (~159 to 181 kg).
When the Himiway fat-tire e-bikes launch on Amazon, there will be an introductory offer of US$200 off the regular retail price from August 27 to 29. This means that you will be able to pick up the Cruiser and Step-Thru models for US$1,499 and the Zebra bicycles for US$1,799.
