Blix Dubbel electric bike arrives with an 80-mile range and launch offer
The Blix Dubbel e-bike is now available to pre-order in the US. The bicycle has a step-thru frame and fatter 20-in x 3.3-in puncture-resistant tires. A 750 W motor produces a peak power of 1,350 W and 90 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 28 mph (~45 kph); you can use the throttle to ride with or without pedalling. You can buy the e-bike with a single 614 Wh or dual 1,228 Wh battery system, providing up to 80 miles (~129 km) of range on a single charge; a full recharge takes around seven hours.
The bicycle also has hydraulic disc brakes, and 80 LUX LED front and rear lights. An integrated display shows your speed or the bike’s battery life and allows you to connect your smartphone via Bluetooth for further insights and OTA updates. The Dubbel has a built-in rear rack, compatible with a range of accessories, allowing you to carry up to 200 lbs (~91 kg) of cargo on the bike. Alternatively, you can use the rack as a passenger seat.
You can currently pre-order the Blix Dubbel electric bike in the US starting from US$1,899, saving US$100 off the regular retail price of US$1,999. Plus, you can save an extra US$200 when you purchase two bicycles. The more expensive dual battery model starts at the discounted price of US$2,399, and shipping is expected to begin in October.
