Smoor Super Cargo e-bike launches with 110 km range and 200 kg payload
The Smoor Super Cargo e-bike has been launched. The bicycle has a rear-mounted 250 W Bafang 8Fun hub motor, assisting you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph) and providing up to 60 Nm of torque. This sits alongside a detachable Samsung batter, that allows you to travel up to 110 km (~68 miles) on a single charge. The pedelec is equipped with 20-in x 3-in rear and 24-in x 3-in front tires; the smaller rear tires lower the load height of the bike for ease of use and safety.
The tire width also makes for a more stable ride across various terrains. Luggage baskets are placed on the front and back of the Super Cargo, measuring 47.5 x 35.5 x 11 cm (~18.7 x 14.0 x 4.3-in) and 38 x 58 x 19.5 cm (~15.0 x 22.8 x 7.7-in), respectively. These allow for up to 55 L of cargo, weighing up to 200 kg (~441 lbs). A King Meter LCD 8-in display is mounted near the handlebars, allowing you to control various settings and view the battery charge level and speed.
Also built onto the aluminum welded frame are front and rear Spanninga LED lights. A hydraulic braking system helps you to come to a stop smoothly, and a built-in kickstand supports the electric bicycle while you unload it. You can buy the Smoor Super Cargo electric bike in Germany for €2,190 (~US$2,189) in black or white. It is unclear whether the manufacturer intends to sell the bicycle in other markets, either directly to customers or via resellers.
