The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 3 Lite has quietly launched in Europe. The vehicle is now available via Amazon in various countries. For example, you can buy the scooter for €446.27 (~US$444.07) in France, €449.99 (~US$447.77) in Spain, €453.71 (~US$451.47) in Italy or €495.88 (~US$493.43) in The Netherlands. While most countries currently only offer the vehicle in white, you can also purchase a black version of the scooter in Spain.
As we previously reported, the scooter can travel at up to 25 kph (~16 mph) and climb gradients up to 14%, thanks to a 300 W motor. You can choose from three speed modes, and a lithium-ion battery enables you to ride for up to 20 km (~12 miles). The scooter is foldable in three places and relatively lightweight, weighing 13 kg (~29 lbs). A simple display between the handlebars provides information such as your speed and battery charge level. You can connect to the vehicle via Bluetooth and view further ride information in an accompanying app.
Other features of the e-scooter include a headlight, plus front, rear and side reflectors. A double braking system, with an eABS electric front and mechanical drum rear brake, is also fitted to the scooter. Plus, the deck is 10 mm (~0.4-in) wider than the Mi Electric Scooter Essential for a more comfortable ride. It is unclear whether or not Xiaomi could launch the scooter in other markets, such as the UK, where different models are already available.
