IO Hawk has announced the Legacy e-scooter, which can be pre-ordered by customers in Europe. The vehicle has a top speed of 20 kph (~12 mph), and you can travel up to 120 km (~75 miles) between charges. Other features of the Legacy include an NFC lock, 5-in display and signal lights.

The IO Hawk Legacy e-scooter is now available to pre-order in Europe. The scooter has a 500 W motor with a top speed of 20 kph (~12 mph) and three speed modes. The company notes that a dual 1,400 W motor option for riding on private land will soon be available, as will upgrade kits such as a 1000 W motor and Boost Box to increase the top speed to 30 kph (~19 mph).

A 25 Ah lithium-ion battery allows you to travel up to 120 km (~75 miles) on a single charge. There are two charging ports on the scooter; a full charge takes 12 hours with a single charger or six hours with two. 10-in tires make your ride more comfortable across various terrains, plus the Legacy has built-in front and rear suspension. There is an 80 Lux headlight alongside front and rear turn signals to help keep you safe in traffic, and hydraulic disc brakes ensure shorter stopping distances.

A 5-in display shows information such as your speed, journey distance and battery charge level. Another feature of the vehicle is an NFC key to reduce the risk of theft. The scooter is on the heavier side, weighing 34 kg (~75 lbs), but it can be folded to make it easier to carry and store. You can currently pre-order the IO Hawk Legacy e-scooter in Europe for €1,949 (~US$1,925) until September 10, when the price will increase to €2,099 (~US$2,073). The vehicle is available in black, mint or yellow.
