Epic Games Store: Free game up for grabs, another game reduced by 90 percent
If you're keeping your money together for the next big AAA titles - such as Princess Peach Showtime!, which will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 22 (available for pre-order here on Amazon) - you don't have to miss out on a breath of fresh air in your games library thanks to the Epic Game Store. The indie runner Aerial_Knight's Never Yield is offered for free until March 7 at 5 pm. The platformer A Knight's Quest, which normally costs 25 US dollar, is available for 2.50 US dollar thanks to a hefty 90 percent discount.
Aerial_Knight's Never Yield
Aerial_Knight's Never Yield falls into the category of side-scrolling runners. Players control Wally, who lives in a futuristic Detroit and discovers ghostly secrets that could change the city forever. Now Wally must flee from his pursuers to bring these truths to light. The game mechanics are simple but challenging. Reactionspeed is key. Players must jump, slide and dodge to keep Wally running as the story unfolds through dynamic levels. A special feature of the game is its soundtrack - a mix of hip-hop and electro that perfectly matches the aesthetics and pace of the game.
A Knight's Quest
A Knight's Quest is a platformer in which players take control of a clumsy hero named Rusty who accidentally triggers an apocalyptic chain of events. During the game, they explore an open world, solve puzzles and fight various enemies to correct Rusty's mishap. The game's dungeons and bosses often follow a three-element theme, combining combat, platforming sections and puzzle solving.
