Update | iPhone 14 Pro: A significant display upgrade is showcased in a new, possibly Apple-fresh, leak

A new Apple Pay ad featuring the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro may have been released in advance. The clips in question make heavy and unambiguous use of the flagship's allegedly updated, punch-holed front panel in animated form. Therefore, this potentially crucial difference between it and the conventionally-notched vanilla 14 may just have been confirmed - had it turned out to be genuine, that is.

Update: This new leak may have been debunked amid assertions that it is merely a well-edited version of this original Apple Pay advert.

Original Article: The YouTube channel Apple Archive Thai indicates that a new Apple Pay ad has been doing the rounds in what appears to be its home country - however, as it clearly features an iPhone 13 Pro (or Pro Max) successor, it has been doing so by accident.

The 2 16-second clips consist of upbeat animations hinting at various uses for the app on a new iPhone, managing public transit access, shopping, groceries and making contactless payments secured by Face ID included. Nothing hugely new or special there - were it not for the fact that the cartoon representation of the classic Apple front panel involved clearly has a dual punch-hole display.

Should this new tip prove genuine, it might comprise the first official signs of the long-awaited evolution beyond the notch in 2022. Then again, the vanilla 14 and rumored 14 Max are rumored to be stuck with it, while the Pro and Pro Max models move on to the exclamation mark-shaped in-display alternative as seen in many other leaks prior to this one.
