Leaker shares details about Apple September hardware event with iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Watch Extreme Edition and Apple M2 showcase
LeaksApplePro has shared information about Apple's September hardware launch event via iDropNews. As always, we would recommend treating early predictions with some scepticism. However, LeaksApplePro's predictions are in line with earlier leaks and rumours, so we would not rule them out at this stage yet, either.
According to the leaker, Apple will schedule the event for September 13, which falls on a Tuesday this year. Unsurprisingly, Apple's primary focus will be the iPhone 14 series, consisting of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. As other leaks have suggested, the iPhone 14 will be the spitting image of its predecessor, while the iPhone 14 Max will serve as an iPhone 13 mini replacement, albeit with a 6.7-inch display.
In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature Apple's rumoured double hole punch for a front-facing camera and Face ID system. Separately, LeaksApplePro asserts that Apple will also use its September hardware event to unveil the Watch Series 8, along with the Watch Extreme Edition and the Watch SE. For reference, Apple will aim the Watch Extreme Edition at those who need an outdoors smartwatch, presumably to rival the likes of Garmin.
Moreover, LeaksApplePro believes that Apple could introduce an upgraded Mac mini and MacBook Pro as well, plus second-generation AirPods Pro. If the former is accurate, then LeaksApplePro expects Apple to equip the pair with its long-awaited M2 SoC.
