Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 series confirmed to receive global release

Xiaomi has just expanded the Redmi Note 15 series with the release of the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition. Nonetheless, it seems that the company is also laying the foundations to launch a new Redmi Note series.
Specifically, Xiaomi has certified a mysterious device with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). It is worth stressing that a regulatory body certification does not guarantee a device's eventual release. However, Xiaomi tends to certify upcoming devices with the EEC, as was the case with the Poco X8 Pro (curr. $499 on Amazon).
Thus, we suspect that Xiaomi will launch the 26073RA49G later this year. Additionally, its model number confirms that it is a global device. On top of that, the model number suggests that Xiaomi will introduce the device around July 2026 in some capacity.
Whether that applies globally or in China remains to be seen at this point. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to skip the Redmi Note 16 series by jumping straight to the Redmi Note 17, Redmi Note 17 Pro and the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. The EEC listing does not reveal which of these three devices '26073RA49G' applies to, though.
