Xiaomi Pad 8 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro confirmed for global launch as specs revealed
The Xiaomi Pad 8 series has taken a step closer to receiving a global release. Announced in September, the Pad 8 series currently consists of the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro. However, there have been rumours to suggest that Xiaomi is developing the Xiaomi Pad 8 Max too.
In the meantime, Sudhanshu Ambhore has obtained EU energy labels for the 25091RP04G and 25091RP43G. Ultimately, these model numbers do not reveal much themselves. The Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro's release in China with the model numbers 25091RP43C
Reportedly, Xiaomi will unleash the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro globally alongside the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Ambhore adds that Xiaomi's high-end tablets will feature the same hardware globally as in China. Thus, the Pad 8 Pro will surpass its direct predecessor (curr. $475 on Amazon) with upgrades like a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a larger battery. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now, although Ambhore believes that Xiaomi will sell the pair in multiple configurations:
