Xiaomi has published certification documents for the Electric Scooter 4 Pro, despite having not officially unveiled the device. As the screenshot below shows, Xiaomi has received an EC Declaration of Conformity (CE) for the electric scooter, reproduced in English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish. It is unclear why Xiaomi has published the CE document itself, but all six language versions can be viewed via the link below.
According to the CE document, Ninebot Tech Co. is producing the Electric Scooter 4 Pro on Xiaomi's behalf. For reference, Ninebot acquired Segway in 2015. Incidentally, Navee produced the Electric Scooter 3 Lite; it remains to be seen why Xiaomi has switched suppliers for the Electric Scooter 4 Pro and whether this will also be the case for the Electric Scooter 4 or an Electric Scooter 4 Lite.
Based on the CE document, it seems that Xiaomi plans to bring three SKUs to market: DDHBC20NEB, DDHBC21NEB and DDHBC23NEB. Unfortunately, it is unclear when Xiaomi will announce the Electric Scooter 4 Pro, or the Electric Scooter 4 series as a whole. Potentially, Xiaomi has provided a marketing photo of the Electric Scooter 4 Pro as well; unsurprisingly, it looks an awful lot like past Xiaomi-branded scooters.
