Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro details emerge with 120 W charging only for one model
More details about Xiaomi's next flagship smartphones have emerged, courtesy of @stufflistings. Writing on Twitter, the leaker claims to have received information about the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro, which may debut alongside the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will release any of these devices outside China. Currently, early signs are that the Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be Chinese exclusives.
Regardless, @stufflistings asserts that Xiaomi will sell the Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Likewise, Xiaomi will also offer the smartphones with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, yielding three memory configurations for Snapdragon models. However, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 version of the Xiaomi 12S Pro will only be available with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage or 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
Additionally, @stufflistings mentions that only the Snapdragon version of the Xiaomi 12S Pro will support 120 W fast charging. Typically, this allows Xiaomi devices to recharge within 20 minutes, such as the Redmi Note 11T Pro Plus. In comparison, the Xiaomi 12S and MediaTek version of the Xiaomi 12S Pro are expected to launch with 67 W charging capabilities, as we reported earlier this month.
