Xgimi launches Horizon 30 series projectors with up to 6,000 ISO lumens and 4K/120Hz

Xgimi has launched the Horizon 30 series, a line-up of three 4K projectors that combine RGB triple-laser light sources with a 120Hz refresh rate and Google TV. The range includes the Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max, and Horizon 30 Ultra Max, which are available to pre-order in the US until October 31.
The Horizon 30 Pro is rated at 4,800 ISO lumens, the Horizon 30 Max at 5,300 ISO lumens, and the Horizon 30 Ultra Max at 6,000 ISO lumens. Native contrast follows the same order at 8,000:1, 9,000:1 and 10,000:1, while a Dual Intelligent Iris system adjusts light output as scenes change. All three models support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG, along with IMAX Enhanced content and Filmmaker Mode.
For gaming, the projectors support variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM) and AMD FreeSync. Xgimi rates input latency as low as 1ms at 1080p and 240Hz, and 1.9ms at 4K and 120Hz. Both HDMI ports accept 4K signals at 120Hz, and the first port also supports eARC for external sound systems. Built-in audio comes from dual 12W Harman Kardon speakers with DTS Virtual:X processing.
Setup tools include optical zoom, lens shift, automatic keystone correction, autofocus, obstacle avoidance, and screen alignment. Each projector sits on a built-in stand that rotates horizontally and tilts vertically, and a Lens Memory feature stores up to five custom configurations for switching between formats such as 16:9 and ultrawide. Xgimi says the new series delivers up to 15% more brightness than the Horizon 20 series, along with seven times the native contrast and double the refresh rate.
The Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max and Horizon 30 Ultra Max carry list prices of $2,499, $2,999, and $3,499. During the pre-order period, they cost $1,899, $2,499, and $2,999, respectively, and come bundled with a floor stand or ceiling mount, two pairs of 3D glasses, and a $500 coupon for Xgimi’s Ascend Screen. Open sales begin on November 1.
