With modern weapons against knights: Kingmakers could be epic

In Kingmakers, players return to medieval England as time-traveling members of an elite task force to use modern weapons to change the course of history and prevent an apocalypse. As a hybrid game, it combines a strategic war simulation with a city builder and a third-person shooter. Players can therefore fight directly on the battlefield as well as issue orders from a top-down perspective. The game can be played alone or in co-op with up to four players.

The announcement trailer released on February 20 promises an epic gaming experience. Players can not only fight with modern weapons such as shotguns, grenade launchers, machine guns or sniper rifles, but also heat up their opponents with various vehicles - including motorcycles, armored SUVs or pickup trucks. An attack helicopter can also be seen in the trailer. However, it is still unclear whether this can be controlled by the player. This seems to have gone down well in the gaming community. After all, three days after its release, the trailer already has over half a million clicks and more than 9,000 upvotes.
