Volkswagen has only just about launched its ID. Buzz; however, that has apparently not stopped the car-marque considering new and interesting variations on the new vehicle. It already has a version adapted for commercial use; now, it has been rendered as having been converted to have a flatbed as well.
The "ID.Buzz pick-up" is just a "design draft" teased as part of a World Design Day 2022 event at present, although it does hint at the potential versatility of the upcoming electric minibus. Then again, as Volkswagen has yet to reach the release stage of the first-gen Buzz and Buzz Cargo, it may remain a concept for quite some time, if not indefinitely.
On the other hand, Volkswagen's apparent openness to electric vehicles of alternative genres might suggest further support for its rumored e-Amarok. This, then, might be the upcoming new electric truck now said to go into production at its Chattanooga, Tennessee plant in the near future.
