According to a new entry on the TENAA certification database, the OEM Vivo is preparing to release a phone with a triple rear camera set-up. As the device in the relevant images exhibits nothing like a fingerprint reader on its back panel, it seems that it also features one integrated into its 6.38 inch display.
TENAA also discloses that this new product - which has the model number V1921A - has a decently large 4420mAh battery. However, its listing with this regulator remains preliminary at this point, meaning that there is no further information available. This includes anything on the V1921A's RAM, storage capacity, processor or OS version.
A device with the same model number has also reportedly appeared on the website for a 2nd Chinese electronics authority, 3C. Unfortunately, this certification merely reinforces the data found in the TENAA listing and no more.
It must be said that the V1921A does strongly resemble the V1913A/T, another upcoming Vivo phone that has experienced similar leaks. The 2 devices appear to have the same dimensions (and camera counts) - however, the V1913A/T is linked to a 4390mAh battery, and to have 4 or 6GB RAM variants. Therefore, it appears that Vivo is working on multiple variants of the same triple-camera phone for different market tiers.
