The latest mid-range handheld from Vivo is expected to integrate a 6.53-inch display plus a hefty 5,000 mAh battery. Press images also reveal a punch-hole selfie cam and a triple-cam setup as well as a fingerprint sensor on the back. The JD.com listing does not mention the exact SoC, but there will be 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage, 6 GB / 64 GB, 6 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 128 GB versions.

Vivo’s official online retailer JD.com recently listed the upcoming Z5x mid-range smartphone along with rear and front press images. This model is expected to initially launch as a China-exclusive handheld.

Even though not all the exact specs are listed on the retail site, word on the street is that the Z5x will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 or 710 SoCs. According to JD.com, memory options include 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage, 6 GB / 64 GB, 6 GB / 128 GB and 8 GB / 128 GB versions. In the display department, the Z5x is said to feature a 6.53-inch display, and the press images reveal that there is a punch-hole selfie cam on the upper left corner of the screen.

On the back we find a triple-cam setup, but there is no info on the exact resolution for each camera. It looks like this is not a premium mid-ranger, as the fingerprint sensor is placed on the back. However, this model will be getting a hefty 5,000 mAh battery and it will include an audio jack, making it ideal for the younger crowd.

As far as color options are concerned, the Z5x will be available in Extreme Night Black / Phantom Black variants, and the handheld should ship with the Fun Touch OS 9 based on Android 9.0. Pricing and complete specs will be revealed on May 24.
