Vivo already posted two teasers for the IQOO Neo smartphone, so a launch date reveal is likely imminent in the next few weeks. The first teaser revealed purple and black color options, while the most recent one clarified that the SoC powering this model will be the Snapdragon 845.
The model was also spotted on TENAA, but the site only provides a partial list of specs for now. Display-wise, the IQOO Neo will get a 6.38-inch screen with teardrop notch. The images posted on TENNA do not show a fingerprint sensor on the back, so we can expect an in-display solution. Speaking of the rear side, the product renders also reveal that the IQOO Neo appears to feature a triple-cam setup. Other features include dual-SIM design, TD-LTE support, audio jack, and a 4,420 mAh battery. The latest 120W SuperFlash Charge technology, which allows for full battery charges in just 15 minutes is most likely out of the question, as new controllers are needed for this kind of feature.
Since the specs imply that this could be a sub-premium model, we could be seeing at least 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB storage. The IQOO Neo is also expected to run on Vivo’s Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0. Retail price is rumored to be around US$300.
