Not one to be stuck in One-Netbook's shadow, GPD has announced the prices for its upcoming P2 Max. Previously, the company has marketed the device as the Pocket 2 Max, and it is still unclear at this stage whether P2 Max is just an abbreviation or the name to which GPD is now sticking.
Moreover, the company is now bringing two models to market, the cheapest of which starts at US$529. In its tweet, GPD stated that it will crowdfund for both models on Indiegogo, but we are still awaiting a date when the campaign will go live. Update
GPD has since posted a revised spec sheet of the P2 Max on Twitter. The company has confirmed that the display will support 10-point multitouch, and reaffirmed that it will measure 213 x 14.95 x 5.5 ~ 14.2 mm. The device will be 5.5 mm at its thinnest point and 14.2 mm at its thickest, while it will weigh 680 g. Disappointingly, the P2 Max will no longer come with a microSD card slot, which GPD previously claimed it would.
Let us know in the comments what you think about the pricing. It certainly seems like GPD is undercutting One-Netbook and its One Mix 3.
