The Vivo X200 Pro is tipped to debut alongside its vanilla sibling in October 2024 with various upgrades over its predecessor - a satellite communications-capable variant included, according to a typically knowledgeable tipster. It is thought to beat its counterpart from Vivo's sister brand OPPO to launch.

The Pro version of OPPO's Find X-series flagship Android smartphones was passed over in the previous generation in favor of the new Ultra variant. However, it is said to be back in 2024 (Ultra or no Ultra), and with a Satellite Edition variant, no less.

Not to be outdone, the X200 Pro will have the same option, according to veteran leaker Digital Chat Station. Accordingly, Vivo's version might be first to market, as it has an official launch date for its next Android flagships while OPPO does not.

The X200 Pro's alleged second version apparently has a modified form of its model number (V2405DA) and is said to support text messages sent over the Beidou-3 satellite service.

It is also tipped to launch with greatly improved battery life, rear camera zoom capabilities and fingerprint authentication compared to the X100 Pro - not to mention an enhanced display experience delivered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform also linked to the supposed Find X8 Pro.
