The latest truly wireless (TWS) earbuds from UGREEN upgrade to a USB type C port for charging and to an IPX5 rating for ingress protection. They also have a Qualcomm chipset which confers some up-to-date audio specs on these new HiTune accessories. They include Bluetooth 5.0, cVc v8.0 for noise cancellation and aptX.

Update: This retail page is now live: Amazon Germany lists them for €59.99 (~US$68), or €44.99 (~$51) with the offer code UGREEN80606. This promo is active until July 11, 2020

UGREEN has released its new HiTune TWS earbuds for sale. Unlike their preceding generation, these peripherals have a USB type C cable to charge their standard pill-like case this time. The OEM claims this upgrade results in up to 2 hours' use after 15 minutes of charging. The HiTunes also last for up to 9 hours on a full charge, with up to 27 hours thanks to the aforementioned case.

These TWS earbuds eschew the AirPod-clone form-factor, and, according to UGREEN, have an "ergonomic in-ear" design. It also incorporates an IPX5 rating, which may make them more useful during workouts.

The company has opted for the Qualcomm QCC3020 SoC in these accessories, which allows for a current version (8.0) of its maker's cVc noise-cancelling technology. Then again, a more active form of this spec isn't mentioned here.

The HiTune TWS earbuds also feature Bluetooth 5.0, aptX, and MEMS mics, which, as the OEM claims, reduces ambient noise by 20-30dB for call clarity even in challenging environments.

These new accessories are currently available at a special price of US$49.99, or $10 off their normal cost on this brand's own website. They are also sold via Amazon, on which they are only $39.99 for a limited time. For European customers, UGREEN has indicated that they will become available on Amazon.de in July 2020.
