Archos has just unveiled its two new budget smartphone lines, dubbed Archos Cobalt and Archos Power. Right now, there are two handset in each series – all with dual-SIM capability.

The more interesting of the Power series duo, the Archos 50 Power comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, the MediaTek MTK6753 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage (expandable via micro-SD). The 5-inch display offers decent 1280 x 720 resolution. The smartphone comes with a 13 MP main camera as well as a 2 MP selfie shooter on front. The device supports LTE and has been priced at 130 Euro.

The other device from the same series, Archos 40 Power, is an entry-level smartphone with a 4-inch, 800 x 480 resolution display and a 1,900 mAh battery. The Archos 40 Power will cost only 50 Euro.

The Cobalt series includes the 5-inch Archos 50 Cobalt and 5.5-inch Archos 55 Cobalt Plus. Both feature 1280 x 720 pixels resolutions and LTE connectivity. The smaller of the two is powered by MediaTek’s MT6535P processor and comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage space (expandable via micro-SD). The 55 Cobalt Plus is powered by the MT6735P SoC, supported by 2 GB of RAM. Storage space is double that of the 50 Cobalt and can also be expanded.
