Timex has launched the Retroware Digital, a 1990s-styled digital watch selling now in the US for $149. It ships in blue and grey-green resin colorways with a 46mm case, Indiglo backlight and 50m water resistance. The watch runs on a standard quartz movement with no smart features, just an alarm, timer and chronograph.

Timex has launched the Retroware Digital, a new line of digital watches built around a design lifted straight from 1990s sport models. The watch is available now in the US for $149, arriving in two colorways at launch: a matte blue version and a grey-green version, both fitted with matching resin straps.

The case measures 46mm across and 11mm thick, with a 50mm lug-to-lug distance. Despite the large footprint, the resin build keeps the watch light on the wrist. The display itself is curved, with enlarged digits aimed at improving readability, and it sits under an acrylic crystal that Timex chose for impact resistance over scratch resistance, meaning light scratches can be polished out but the crystal is more prone to picking them up in the first place.

Inside, the Retroware Digital runs on a standard quartz movement powered by a CR2025 coin-cell battery. There is no Bluetooth, no step tracking, and no other smart features. Functionality is limited to a daily alarm, a countdown timer and a chronograph for measuring elapsed time, alongside Timex's Indiglo backlight, which illuminates the display at the press of a button for visibility in the dark.

Water resistance is rated at 50 meters, enough for rain and light swimming, though Timex specifies the watch is not built for diving and its buttons should not be pressed while submerged. The included 20mm resin straps use quick-release spring bars, letting them be swapped without tools, and are sized to fit wrists between 5.9 and 8.1 inches. The Retroware Digital is available now through the Timex US website.
