LetsGoDigital and Snoreyn (Giuseppe Spinelli) have teamed up again in regard to PlayStation 5 console renders. There have already been a few fan-made efforts popping up online lately that have been clearly influenced or inspired by the unveiling of the DualSense controller, but Snoreyn has taken the concept to a new and more realistic level.
The designer has offered up this latest concept of the PS5 in white with blue LEDs to match it with the DualSense controller and there is a black model for those who prefer their next-generation console in a more somber cladding. There doesn’t seem to be much to match this PS5 console concept with the real-life devkits – there’s no specific V-shaped form and there are no huge fins for cooling on the sides. In fact, the cooling solution for this particular concept does seem to look like it would struggle with keeping the device from overheating – but it is just an artist's impression after all.
The PS5 console in Snoreyn’s concept renders stands vertically and the game-disc slot is located at the top of one of the narrow sides, with a couple of USB ports situated beneath it. On the opposite side to the disc drive is a host of ports for connectivity, while the larger flat sides feature the PlayStation logo in the center and air vents for cooling on the top edge and bottom side. The white PS5 with the blue lighting looks particularly convincing next to the DualSense controller, and it certainly whets the appetite for what Sony will produce with the actual PS5 console.
