Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey are now free to download. Part of Sony's Play At Home Initiative, the two games have been available on PS Plus before. This time though, no PS Plus is required to keep the games indefinitely. Sony is offering Knack II instead of Uncharted in China and Germany, for some reason.
The offer will run from April 15 20:00 PDT through May 5 20:00 PDT, according to a press release. It is unclear whether these will be the only games that Sony will offer as part of the Play At Home Initiative, though.
The Initiative will also see Sony donate US$10 million to indie developers. The company says that it will publish information about the fund, including participation criteria, "soon". The reaction on social media has been mixed, though. On the one hand, some people feel let down by Sony choosing two games that it has previously offered on PS Plus. On the other hand, others have pointed out that Sony is giving away four games, with the Collection including three titles.
