The remake of Silent Hill 1 is in development, and a new project has been announced

Silent Hill is a cult franchise in the world of video games that first appeared in 1999, immersing players in unique and terrifying universes. And following the release of Silent Hill f, Bloober Team has just announced that the remake of Silent Hill 1 is officially in development.

While Silent Hill 2 is considered to be the best game in the franchise, the first title is not to be overlooked. It plunges players into the fictional town of Silent Hill, which is in decline and whose population is suffering. Players embody Harry Mason, who lost his daughter Cheryl on the outskirts of the town, and the aim is to find her.

As a result, we can expect considerable work from Bloober Team, because the remake of Silent Hill 2 was a huge success, and there is no doubt that the same level of effort will be put into this new project. However, while this announcement will please fans of the franchise, they will have to be patient, as no release date has yet been announced by the Polish studio.

But that's not all, because during a Q&A session with investors, Bloober revealed that another team is working on another mysterious project. Some people think it's the Layers of Fear series or a new license inspired by the same universe as Cronos: The New Dawn. While waiting for more information, it will be necessary to show patience before being able to discover this project and know if it will appeal to players worldwide.
