The OPPO F11 and 11 Pro launch in India
A good deal of online leaks and speculation have pointed to the OPPO F11 Pro as one of a very short list of phones with a selfie-cam that rises from inside the body of the phone using a little motor. This enhances the screen-to-body ratio greatly, and makes the phone look more unique. The F11 Pro's launch has proved these rumors correct. Its pop-up camera takes a central location along the top edge of the 6.5-inch IPS FHD display.
For those who oppose the pop-up design, perhaps for its potential to fail over time with use, OPPO has also prepared an alternative. This is the less expected F11 variant. It has the same screen as the Pro, although there is an R17 Pro-esque teardrop notch present. It also has the 48+5MP main camera as its sibling, thus continuing the photography-focused appeal of the OPPO F line. Both the F11 and F11 Pro also have a 16MP single selfie camera, although their locations obviously differ greatly.
The new F11 series also shares the MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core SoC. The Pro variant has 6 GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, whereas the F11 gets 4GB in RAM, but 128 GB of storage. Both of them also run the new version of ColorOS based on Android 9.0, and have 4,000mAh batteries. The F11 is to be sold at Rs. 19,990 (or about $283), whereas the F11 Pro will be priced at Rs 24,990 (or approximately $357).
