The Dell XPS 15 9575 will not get a successor in the first half of 2019
Since the arrival of the XPS 15 9575 convertible with 32 GB of memory has been pushed all the way into the first part of 2019, it seems that those waiting for the successor to the current generation will have to wait some more. According to Frank Azor, the next-gen XPS 15 convertible will not arrive in the first half of the next year.
The Dell XPS 15 9575 has been around for a while, but the next refresh this convertible will receive is not the next generation. As previously confirmed by Frank Azor, a variant with 32 GB of memory and, unfortunately, no LTE connectivity, is expected to arrive in the first part of 2019. These being said, remains to find out when will Dell launch the next-gen XPS 15 convertible. Sadly, we do not have any good news to share, especially for those who had hopes of obtaining the successor to the XPS 15 9575 in a timely manner.
Alienware's co-founder and VP General Manager has just come up with a rather funny reply to a question concerning the successor to the 9575 that he received on Twitter. The question is "could you please tell us approximately when the successor to the 9575 is coming out?" and Frank Azor's answer is "I can't but not anytime soon," so all we can tell for now is that the XPS 15 9575 could get a successor at the end of 2019's summer in the best-case scenario.
Other than the above, there is not much to say, but we are waiting for your comments, as usual. Will you wait for the next-gen XPS 15 convertible, buy the 32 GB variant once it comes out, or just grab a competing product?

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
