Update | The Android 10 rollout for the LG G8 ThinQ continues
Update: Owners of the AT&T model of the LG G8 ThinQ are also confirming receipt of the Android 10 update. That means only the T-Mobile model is yet to receive Android 10.

LG's software update performance may have taken a turn for the better. The company sent out the Android 10 update to the G8 ThinQ in its home South Korea back in December, and is now rolling out the update in the US.
Owners of the Sprint and Verizon models of the G8 ThinQ received the OTA a few weeks ago, and it has now made its way over to the unlocked models of the phone. That's a pretty good showing by LG since it's become customary for unlocked models to be the last to the party.
The Android 10 rollout for the G8 ThinQ has been pretty impressive all-around. A differential of just over a month between the Korean and US rollouts is a big improvement for LG; the company has been known to keep European and North American models waiting for months after Korean models receive updates.
The update weighs in at about 1.9 GB, and brings all the regular Android 10 features, alongside the major UI redesign that LG's new LG UX 9.0 offers, and a new desktop mode.
