MagyarSwitchBot Blind Tilt solar-powered adapter can turn ordinary blinds into smart blinds with voice controls
The SwitchBot Blind Tilt is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The smart blinds adapter can be retrofitted to many standard blinds in just three steps; the company claims that the gadget is compatible with 99% of wand controls for horizontal blinds. You can then control your blinds in ten ways, such as with a timer or sunrise.
When combined with the SwitchBot Hub Mini, you can alter the settings via a smartphone app or with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple Siri voice commands. Alternatively, you could use the SwitchBot Remote to control the blinds or even continue to use them manually if needed. You can set the blinds to open to a specific angle with a 2° control. Plus, you can select your desired light level, and the gadget can intelligently alter the settings to maintain this based on the amount of light it detects.
Plus, a solar panel power supply helps the 2,000 mAh battery to run for longer; the company claims that the power is “never ending” You can currently receive the SwitchBot Blind Tilt when you pledge US$49 to the Kickstarter campaign. The product is expected to retail for US$69 in the future, and Wonder Tech Lab is shipping the gadget to countries such as the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The first deliveries of the product are expected to be made in December.
