Bethesda's space RPG Starfield has gotten an attractive price cut on Steam. You can buy the Starfield and its digital premium edition for 33% off for a limited time.

Despite its less-than-ideal feature set at launch, Bethesda has done a decent job keeping Starfield topped up with heaps of QoL improvements, including support for DLSS, FSR 3.0 and XeSS. If you want to ignore the discourse around it and give Starfield a try, it is discounted by 33% on Steam. SteamDB's price tracker confirms it is the lowest the game has retailed for, although it isn't the first time it received such a price cut.

Both the base game and digital premium edition are eligible for the said discount. The latter gets you instant access to the Shattered Space expansion due to launch later this year, some in-game items (which are frankly underwhelming) and access to Starfield's digital artbook. However, if you own the base game and want to upgrade, you'll still have to pay full price.

Despite being Bethesda's new IP after decades, Starfield didn't get nearly as much critical acclaim as The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. While it isn't "Skyrim in space" as advertised, you can still get a few dozen hours of playtime out of it. After all, it is a quintessential Bethesda RPG, complete with branching questlines and loads of side content.
