Stable Android 10 update arrives for the Xiaomi Redmi 7

Yes, Android 10 has finally arrived for the Redmi 7. The update began rolling out in China yesterday, with the software version number "MIUI 11.0.1.0.QFLCNXM". As evident from that code, the update is for the Chinese model of the phone and is based on MIUI 11, not MIUI 12. Xiaomi is yet to begin the MIUI 12 rollout for its older mid-range phones. While this update is only rolling out in China, we expect a global release in the coming weeks. It only took two weeks for the Redmi 7A's Android 10 update to spread from China to the rest of the world, for example.
