Apparently, Sony is working on another Xperia smartphone, and one that will be about as large as the iPhone 12 mini. According to a Google Play Console listing, the device's display has a 300 PPI pixel density and 1,496 x 720 native resolution, yielding a 5.5-inch diagonal length and a 2:1 aspect ratio.
The listing affirms that the device is the Xperia Ace II, which we reported on earlier this year. Additionally, the 'SO-41B' has 4 GB of RAM and a MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) SoC, earmarking it as a budget to mid-range handset. For context, the Helio P35 has eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The Xperia Ace II has also appeared on a case manufacturer's website. However, the images shown appear to based on OnLeaks' renders that he published in January. It is unclear when Sony will announce the Xperia Ace II; a Google Play Console appearance usually indicates that a company is close to revealing a device.
