Sony has added to the colour options in which it already sold the WH-1000XM4. From the middle of this month, the company will begin selling its latest over-ear headphones in Midnight Blue, which also has gold accents. The Midnight Blue model will not be a limited edition and is US$100 cheaper than the limited Silent White version.

Sony is not done with releasing new TWS products this week. On Tuesday, the company announced the WF-1000XM4, long-awaited successors of the WF-1000XM3. The WF-1000XM4 features a new design, LDAC support and a revised charging case, among other changes. You can read more about the WF-1000XM4 here.

Now, the company has re-released the WH-1000XM4 in a new colour. Sony has called the new colour 'Midnight Blue' and its accompanying press release states that the 'latest design supports the same specifications as the...Black and Silver' editions. In short, Sony has given the WH-1000XM4 a new lick of paint. The charging case also comes in the new 'Midnight Blue' colourway, which Sony accents with a gold zip.

The WH-1000XM4 in Midnight Blue will retail for £350 (US$299), matching the RRP of the Black and Silver editions. The new colour will be available to purchase from mid-June, and there is no indication that it will be a limited edition version, as is the case with the Silent White model that retails for £400 (US$399.99).
