Sony WF-1000XM4 release date set as European retailer pricing leaks

The WF-1000XM4 has leaked again, this time on Datart, a Slovakian retailer. According to The Walkman Blog, Datart listed the WF-1000XM4 in black and silver, the only colours in which Sony is expected to offer the earbuds. Datart has pulled both listings, and no cached versions are available, so we can only take The Walkman Blog's word for these listings. The Walkman Blog has an excellent reputation for Sony-related leaks though, so we have no reason to doubt the screenshots that it has published.

The €279.90 list price matches a claim made last week by Roland Quandt, too. US or UK pricing remains elusive, though. The WF-1000XM4 will be about €30 more expensive than the WF-1000XM3 in Europe though, so we may see a similar margin between the pair in other markets.

Additionally, it seems that Sony has the WF-1000XM4's announcement for June 8, as asserted by @mirai160525. Sony will host a live stream at 16:00 UTC, or 01:00 JST, which you can watch below. In our opinion, the strapline 'Truly Silent. Tailored 4 you.' is more than a nod to the WF-1000XM4, and is probably the only device that Sony will announce on June 8.
