Sony has shown off yet some more God of War Ragnarok gameplay and plot elements in its new trailer. It gives players a rough idea about the in-game mechanics, boss fights and more. It also heralds the arrival of a new God of War Ragnarok-themed DualSense controller.

Sony has given God of War enthusiasts yet another peek into God of War Ragnarok via a new gameplay trailer. While it is cinematic-heavy and shows little in the way of gameplay, it reveals key plot elements and builds hype for an epic showdown between Kratos and the Aesir. God of War Ragnarok is up for pre-order and will be playable on the PS4 and PS5 on November 9.

The trailer starts with some back and forth between Kratos and Atreus. It also confirms that the iconic Blades of Chaos can be used alongside the axe. A character previously assumed to be dead (Tyr) also makes his cameo, as does Freyja, who is now a sworn enemy of the father-son duo. It all builds up to the climactic moment showing Kratos duke it out with the God of Thunder Thor himself.

Sony has also announced a new, limited edition DualSense controller to celebrate God of War Ragnarok's release. It is inspired by the game's aesthetic and features a two-tone design, complete with two wolves on the touchpad. One can pre-order it on September 27 and it will begin shipping on November 9. Sony states that the controller is a "limited edition" item, so it might not be available globally, at least in meaningful quantities.
