Seiko's new Presage Cocktail Time watches now selling outside Japan in more markets
When Seiko introduced the Presage Cocktail Time HCB001J1, HCB002J1 and HCB003J1 in July, all three were Japan-market releases. That is no longer the case — the trio is now listed in Singapore at SGD 708.50 each, roughly $553, and UK pricing has settled at £420.
Availability has gone further than those two markets suggest. Retailers in the Netherlands and Spain are also carrying the range, and listings have appeared on Chrono24 at around $580. Seiko has not made a formal international announcement, so this looks like a gradual distribution expansion.
Stock looks to be pretty thin either way. All the references on the Singapore listing show a single unit remaining. This could only imply small initial allocations rather than open availability.
The dial separates this generation from earlier Cocktail Time watches. Seiko has dropped the fine radial lines the line is known for in favor of a texture inspired by vintage drinking glasses. This effect is far more visible in person than in press photography — something Fratello's real-world images made clear last month.
The HCB001J1 has a blue-green dial with a steel bracelet, while the HCB002J1 in green and HCB003J1 in brown both arrive on brown leather.
The case has shrunk to 38.5 mm across and 11.8 mm thick, with 20 mm lugs and 50 meters of water resistance. Inside is the 4R35 automatic, rated at 41 hours of reserve and -35 to +45 seconds a day. You can see it through a transparent caseback.
The crystal is Hardlex, Seiko's hardened mineral glass, rather than sapphire. This is somewhat standard for 4R35-powered Presage watches, but a major difference from the Classic Series pieces above them.
Seiko has not confirmed US pricing or availability, which leaves American buyers with grey-market listings for now.
