Seiko's new limited-edition titanium watch comes with 11 lab-grown diamonds, solar radio caliber 1B32
We reported Seiko's Edo Murasaki collection with six new watches. However, there's more to it. Another model, the Lukia HEE004J, appears only in the Japanese announcement. This is why it went unmentioned outside Japan.
It is also the only women's piece in the anniversary's third wave, and the most limited: 400 pieces against edition sizes running from 2,000 to 9,999 for the rest (excluding the non-global Astron models). Casebacks have a limited-edition marking as well. Japanese pricing is ¥130,900 including tax, around $826. That's almost the same price as the Prospex Alpinist from the same collection.
Lukia has been active since 1995 as Seiko's women's line. It is sold almost exclusively in Japan and a handful of Asian markets.
The case is pure titanium finished in Platinum Diashield (Seiko's hardening treatment). The watch is 27.9 mm across and 8.7 mm thick. For dial protection, the HEE004J features curved sapphire with Super Clear coating over a purple sunray dial. Eleven lab-grown diamonds are present at every index except twelve o'clock. There's a Roman numeral at that spot. Also, the crown is set with purple crystal glass instead of stone.
The Lukia HEE004J is powered by the solar caliber 1B32. It sports radio correction, and it pulls standard signals from Japan, China, the United States and Germany. Seiko quotes ±15 seconds a month unreceived, six months from a full charge, and 18 months in power save. The calendar runs to the end of 2099. Water resistance is 10 bar. Additionally, the case is treated for nickel sensitivity. Also, Seiko describes the gold second hand and logo as the primary anniversary markers on the watch.
Release is set for October 2026 alongside the rest of the collection. Specifically, Japanese retailers are listing 9 October as the availability date. Seiko has announced no international distribution, and at 400 pieces it is unlikely to be available elsewhere.
