Seiko unveils 3 new Presage Cocktail Time automatic watches with sunburst dials

If you think of Japanese dress watches, Seiko's Presage lineup usually sits near the top of that list. As a part of its fresh launches, Seiko has unveiled three new Presage cocktail-themed automatics in Japan. The HCB001J, HCB002J, and HCB003J are all priced at ¥68,200 and listed as new on the Japanese Seiko website.
For context, the Presage cocktail series has been running in various forms since 2016. Usually, the watches take dial inspiration from the colors and textures of classic drinks. This new trio follows that same brief — the HCB001J goes with a blue sunburst dial on a stainless steel bracelet, the HCB002J has a deep green dial on a brown leather strap, and the HCB003J takes a warm brown dial also on a brown leather strap. All three use dagger-style indices with gold-tone accents.
Under the case, all three run the 4R35 — Seiko's workhorse automatic with manual winding, hacking function, 41-hour power reserve, 23 jewels, and a date display. It's not the most technically impressive movement in the Presage stable, but it's reliable and well-suited to this price point. The stainless-steel case measures 38.5 mm wide, 11.8 mm thick, and 45.4 mm lug-to-lug, with a box-type Hardlex crystal and a see-through screw case back. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar.
The bracelet variant (HCB001J) weighs 108 g, while the leather-strap models come in lighter at 64 g each. Both leather variants feature a quick-release lever for easy strap swaps. All three are Japan-market releases at ¥68,200 — approximately $421 at current rates. International availability hasn't been confirmed yet.
