The new Seiko collab watches come with Roman numerals on the dial.
Seiko's new Violet Evergarden watches, based on the Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll film, come in green and white, limited to 1,000 each. Both use a 38.1 mm steel quartz case with 10 bar water resistance, cost ¥65,780 and ship from mid-March 2027.

Seiko and Violet Evergarden have released another pair of memorial watches. These two use the 2019 Kyoto Animation film Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll as inspiration. Premico opened orders for them in Japan on September 16, and deliveries are due to start from mid-March 2027.

There are two versions, and each is limited to 1,000 pieces. The one on a steel bracelet gets a leaf-green dial with a radial pattern. It represents the greenery around the film's boarding school. The leather strap version uses a white dial instead, and also comes with an embossed pattern modeled on the white camellias from the film. Otherwise, the layout is the same.

Most of the story references are on the dial anyway. The seconds hand has a small letter — a reference to the bond between sisters Isabella and Taylor. The 6 o'clock index gets the shape of Violet's deep green brooch. A white camellia sits at 4 o'clock, and two birds in flight fill the space between 7 and 8 o'clock.

Underneath, both are quartz pieces. The stainless steel case measures roughly 38.1 mm wide, 43.8 mm long and 8.1 mm thick, and it uses a curved Hardlex crystal. Accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds a month, water resistance is 10 bar, and both are made in Japan. The leather strap is cowhide on both sides. Each caseback is engraved with the film's logo and an individual edition number.

Packaging is themed as well. Both ship in a white box based on the dress Violet wore at her debutante ball, alongside a warranty card shaped like a sealed letter.

Pricing is ¥65,780 each including tax, or about $417. Sales will take place exclusively via Premico. The 2022 Violet Evergarden memorial watch, by comparison, had a smaller 35 mm case, only 3 bar of water resistance and a ¥43,780 price. That one sold out pretty quickly.
