Samsung confirms One UI 5 and Android 13 rollout plans for Europe

Samsung has outlined plans to upgrade 65 devices to One UI 5 in Europe. Supposedly, the company will complete its Android 13 upgrade process by February 2023 in Europe, with November and December being the biggest months in Samsung's rollout. Unsurprisingly, Samsung will update current flagships first before moving onto older models and current mid-range devices.

Earlier this month, Samsung kicked off its stable One UI 5 rollout plans, starting with the Galaxy S22 series. Subsequently, the company revealed plans to upgrade 49 devices to the Android 13-based update in South Korea, covered separately. Now, the company has shared its schedule for upgrading its product stack to One UI 5 in Europe.

According to its update plan, at least 65 devices will receive One UI 5 and Android 13 over the next few months. Please note that this schedule applies to factory-unlocked handsets, not those purchased from carriers. Conversely, those carriers will undertake their own upgrade plans, even for those that have been subsequently unlocked.

Perhaps predictably, Samsung will issue One UI 5 for flagship or former flagship devices first, such as the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. Additionally, the company will upgrade the Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy S21 series in November as well, along with the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S8 series. For some reason, while most of the Galaxy S20 series will receive the update during the same month, the Galaxy S20 4G, Galaxy S20 Plus 4G and Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G must wait until December 2022 for One UI 5. You can find the full list below, culminating in February with the Galaxy A03, Galaxy A03s and Galaxy A04s.
