The Galaxy Tab S11 series is on the horizon, with early information about the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and the return of a smaller flagship option having surfaced last month. However, it seems that Samsung is not done with last year's Galaxy Tab S10 series just yet. To recap, the company has been selling the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra since early October.
Now, the putative Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has turned up online sporting the same chipset as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus (curr. $359.99 - refurbished on Amazon). Specifically, Geekbench reports that Samsung has equipped the SM-X406B with 'S5E8835', the model number for the Exynos 1380 5G. The sole listing that has turned up so far also indicates that Samsung plans to pair this mid-range chipset with 6 GB of RAM and Android 15 based on One UI 7.
Ultimately, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite can only match the performance of its Galaxy Tab S9 FE siblings with single and multi-core scores of 782 and 2,637, respectively, in Geekbench 5.5.1. As a result, Samsung's next mid-range tablet will trail alternatives like the Redmi Pad Pro 5G, whose single-core performance is almost 30% higher thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Other details about the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite remain unknown for now, although we imagine the tablet will officially launch sometime this summer.
