The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to debut next month around the globe. Those phones have already been finalized, but the Galaxy S27 series remains up in the air, with a new leak now claiming the line-leading Galaxy S27 Ultra could be set for major upgrades.
As shared by leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could be in line for significant changes to its camera setup. Supposedly, the 2027-bound flagship phone could be set to arrive with a new main camera, ultra-wide-angle camera, and selfie snapper. Unfortunately, though, the leaker claims the S27 Ultra's telephoto shooter will remain unchanged.
Admittedly, all of this is to be taken with a grain of salt. For one, it's a bit too early for concrete information on the Galaxy S27 Ultra. There's also the fact that previous reports on this specific matter have been rather conflicting. That said, the Galaxy S27 Ultra getting a camera overhaul would be a welcome development, as Samsung has mostly used the same sensors going all the way back to the Galaxy S23 series.
