All we know for sure so far is that this ultra slim smartphone will be just over 6mm thick when it finally launches, thinner than the other Sammy S25 line-up. You'll get a dual lens camera setup, so the telephoto shooter is probably gone. But we could see a 200MP sensor like the Ultra slapped on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, for cropping in. Here's hoping that Sammy has gone silicon carbon for the battery tech, otherwise this Slim boy is unlikely to match the Plus phone's 4900mAh battery. You can expect the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to sport another 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen like the S25 Plus. And hopefully the same Snapdragon 8 Elite smarts so the Samsung S25 Edge can satisfy gamers.

The Galaxy S25 Edge got a video tease at Samsung Unpacked and I got a chance to see it in person. Yes, it's stunningly slim, and it's creating a ton of buzz. But we also don't know the specs, price or release date, which can make people shopping for a Galaxy S25 Ultra confused about whether they should upgrade now or wait for the Edge. Lets dig into my initial impressions and your reactions.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
