The team behind NoPixel, in collaboration with Rockstar Games, has announced a new version of its popular roleplay server. Called NoPixel V, the project will be available on the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms. An official announcement trailer has already been released.
According to the developers, NoPixel V will expand the long-running roleplay experience beyond its previous availability on FiveM, a mod framework for GTA V that enables custom multiplayer servers with roleplay and mods. The server has become one of the most popular community-driven projects for Grand Theft Auto V, offering players the ability to create their own characters and live out custom storylines within Los Santos.
The roleplay environment is maintained through strict rules and a whitelist system, which the team says ensures a higher standard of in-character interaction. Players can roleplay as police officers, criminals, mechanics, shop owners, or ordinary residents, with dynamic storylines that evolve based on player choices.
NoPixel has also built a strong presence on Twitch, helped by prominent streamers and YouTubers such as xQc, Summit1g and many more. These creators have played key roles in popularising the server, making it one of the most recognised roleplay communities in GTA V.
It remains unclear whether NoPixel 4 will continue to operate alongside the newly announced version. According to the developers, NoPixel V will release “soon” on the Rockstar Games Launcher and other PC platforms. A release date and more details are expected to follow on NoPixel's official website.
