Rixel’s compact titanium pry bar combines a six-bit rotating chamber with screwdrivers, wrenches, a box cutter, bottle opener, rulers and other everyday-carry functions. The Kickstarter campaign has already overshot its $3,000 goal by more than 1,000%, with shipping planned for December.

Rixel is taking the ordinary pry bar in an unconventional direction with its titanium multi-tool pry bar, a compact everyday-carry tool built around a rotating, revolver-style bit holder. Its standout feature is a rotating, revolver-style chamber that holds six magnetic screwdriver bits and can be spun and deployed with a thumb. The titanium model measures 6.29 inches long and weighs just under 90 grams (3.17 ounces), while a substantially heavier stainless-steel variant is also offered.

The revolver-style bit chamber is nothing new, appearing in other tools such as the GripNGo Vault. Rather, the real distinction of the multi-tool pry bar lies more in how many secondary functions it packs, whicih include top and side screwdriver ports, stepped wrench openings covering 2 to 11 mm, a dedicated spoke wrench, pry bar, bottle opener, box cutter, dual metric/imperial ruler and pocket clip. Six slots are designed for optional tritium tubes to improve visibility, while a thumb-operated slider provides a fidget function. The design also includes a carabiner or keychain attachment point.

On Kickstarter, early-bird pricing starts at $69 for the stainless model and $89 for titanium, compared to planned retail prices of $149 and $189 respectively; accessories such as tritium tubes and a leather case cost extra. The campaign has already exceeded its funding target of $3,000 by over 1,000% for $30,368. Shipping is slated for December. As always, crowdfunding campaigns involve certain risks, including the possibility that the product may not work as advertised or may not make it to market at all.
